§ Mrs. ThatcherThe White Paper envisages that more teachers will be graduates; that a graduate profession is the ultimate aim; and that there will be much better arrangements for induction and for in-service training. These developments must enhance the standing of the profession. Salary implications will be a matter for the Burnham Committees.
