Elliottasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what arrangements have been made to collect information about future industrial development, formerly provided by applications for industrial development certificates, now that those have been abolished in the development and special development areas.
§ Mr. Anthony GrantNegotiations with local authority associations in England and Wales and Scotland are at present taking place with a view to obtaining this information from applications to local authorities for planning permission.
