§ Mr. CarlisleThe present courthouse, which is shared with the Crown Court, is being acquired by my right hon. and learned Friend the Secretary of State for the Environment for the exclusive use of the Crown Court. Plans are in hand for a new courthouse for the magistrates. The local authority hopes to start building in the financial year 1973–74.
