Mr. Thomas Cox

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many convictions there were in each of the last three years for the selling of motor cars and lorries in an unroadworthy condition.

The numbers of findings of guilt in England and Wales for offences of selling, supplying or offering for sale or supply a motor vehicle in unroadworthy condition were 305 in 1969, 275 in 1970 and 280 in 1971.
