HL Deb 11 August 1972 vol 334 c1582WA
LORD BETHELL

asked Her Majesty's Government:

How many residential units are subject to rates in each of the London boroughs of Westminster, Camden and Kensington and Chelsea; and how many of these units are rated at a higher value than £400.

LORD SANDFORD

On April 1, 1972, the numbers of domestic hereditaments separately rateable in the three London boroughs and the number of these with rateable values exceeding £330 were as follows:

London Borough Total domestic hereditaments Number over £330 RV
Westminster 88,050 17,693
Camden 63,992 4,195
Kensington and chelsea 60,406 13,360

I regret that the statistics available do not show the numbers over £400 rateable value.
