HC Deb 09 August 1972 vol 842 c495W
Mr. Kilfedder

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will issue a further publication for free world-wide distribution following on from "The Terror and the Tears", and continuing the catalogue of Irish Republican Army atrocities in Northern Ireland.

Mr. David Howell

Two publications have recently been issued by the Northern Ireland Office. The first, "Bloody Friday", is an account of the casualties and damage caused by the 27 explosions in Belfast on 21st July. The second, "Death of a Village", is an account of the bomb outrages in the village of Claudy on 31st July. Both publications reproduce photographs and press reports on these two IRA outrages. The publications are being distributed free in the United Kingdom and abroad through Her Majesty's diplomatic posts.
