§ Mr. Dudley SmithIn the area covered by the Richmond and Kingston employment exchanges, at 10th July, 35.3 per cent. of those registered as wholly unemployed were 50 years of age and over. Of those aged 50 years and over, 54.5 per cent, had been registered for more than 13 weeks. Rates of unemployment can be calculated only for the whole of the Greater London area, and at 10th July the rate was 1.7 per cent.
