§ Mr. Graham PageThe board has given us its views on the best arrangements for continuing the work of its staff, and my right hon. Friend has discussed these with the chairman. There is a substantial measure of agreement and more detailed discussions are now taking place. A consultation paper will be circulated shortly about the National Water Council, which is to replace the board under the Government's proposals.
