HC Deb 11 April 1972 vol 834 c173W
Sir C. Taylor

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will make a statement about Her Majesty's Government's policy in relation to the activities of the Irish Republican Army in the United Kingdom.

Mr. Maudling

I have nothing to add to the replies I gave to Questions from my hon. Friends the Members for Birmingham, Edgbaston (Mrs. Knight) and for Macclesfield (Mr. Winterton) on 28th February and 23rd March, respectively, about the activities of the I.R.A. in Great Britain. Responsibility with regard to Northern Ireland rests with my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland.—[Vol. 832, c. 42;Vol. 833, c. 1655–6.]
