§ 63. Dame Irene Wardasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if she will list the schools referred to in the 1952 Estimates Committee's Report as having bad school buildings which have now been replaced by modern buildings.
§ Mr. van StraubenzeeNo schools were named in the Report itself. Of the 58 old schools in Manchester named in evidence submitted to the Committee, 11 have been closed, 30 have been or are being replaced and nine have been substantially improved.
