Mrs. Joyce Butlerasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will advance the date of the food labelling regulations due to come into force in 1976, so far as soft drinks are concerned, so that consumers can be made aware of the additive content of soft drinks as soon as possible.
§ Mr. Anthony StodartMy right hon. Friend knows of no new factors which would justify changing the decision taken in 1967 on the date at which these regulations should come into force.
