What is the net usable area of space occupied by headquarters staffs of Government Departments in Central London and Greater London respectively in square metres, and how much of this space is held on lease.

LORD SANDFORD

As at April,1971,1.2 million sq. metres of office space was occupied by headquarters staff of Government Departments in Central London and 276,000 sq. metres in Outer London: 862,000 sq. metres of the former and 135,000 sq. metres of the latter were held on lease.
