Pensions and compensation alowances paid to former members of the Royal Irish Constabulary and their widows are reviewed under the Pensions (Increase) Acts, the last review being made under the Pensions (Increase) Act, 1969. Widows pensions are also reviewed under the Royal Irish Constabulary (Widows' Pension) Act, 1954, and regulations made thereunder when National Insurance Widows pensions are revised; the last occasion was in November, 1969.
