HC Deb 25 May 1971 vol 818 c126W
Mr. Mather

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what plans he has for rehousing the Patent Office and its library.

Mr. Amery

The immediate plan is to concentrate the Patent Office in fewer buildings. Eventually, it will be rehoused in a suitably designed building in central London. The Library, now the National Reference Library of Science and Invention, will be rehoused with the British Museum Library on the Bloomsbury site.
