§ Mr. Clinton Davisasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will issue a circular to all local authorities advising them of the undesirability of herding together on one estate large numbers of families who are rendered homeless.
§ Mr. AmerySuch advice was contained in a joint circular from the Ministry of Housing and Local Government, 33W the Ministry of Health and the Home Office (M.H.L.G. circular No. 58/66) issued to all local authorities in October, 1966. This advice may need to be reviewed in the light of reports expected from the Working Party on Homelessness in London set up by the Secretary of State for Social Services.
