asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what are now the numbers of men and of women who are members of occupational pension schemes.

The last survey by the Government Actuary related to the end of 1967, when nearly 10 million men and more than 2 million women were estimated to be members of occupational pension schemes.

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what steps he will take to ascretain the views of members of occupational pension schemes in regard to the reform of the law governing the administration of such schemes.

When we publish our detailed proposals for legislation affecting State and occupational pension provision there will be opportunity for all relevant aspects to be discussed.
