§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for Social Services on what date he received the communication from the hon. Member for West Ham, North, sent under date of 8th April, concerning alleged maladministration and neglect upon the part of his Department; why, in view of the contents of this communication complaining of failure of his Department to deal with the Member's correspondence, that he had not by 21st April, 1971, sent a reply; and whether he will send photostats of all the correspondence on this case to the hon. Member, to enable him to raise this with the Parliamentary Commissioner.
