Mr. Edwin Wainwrightasked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will give the number of boys and girls registered as unemployed at the Wombwell and Mexborough employment exchange areas, who do not qualify for benefits because they have not been employed for the requisite number of weeks.
§ Mr. Dudley SmithOn 11th March there were 18 young persons registered at the Wombwell careers office and 36 at the Mexborough careers office who were not entitled to unemployment benefit because they had paid insufficient Class 1 national insurance contributions.
