§ Mr. Skinnerasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether local authorities affected by the provisions of 33W the Mines and Quarries (Valuation) Order, 1971, will receive full compensation by way of increased rate support grant to take account of the reduced hereditaments of mines and quarries.
§ Mr. Graham PageLocal authorities which qualify for a share of the resources element of the rate support grant will be compensated for their loss of mineral rateable value by an increase in their share of that element.
