52. Mr. Edwin Wainwright

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if she will publish in the OFFICIAL REPORT the names of the polytechnic colleges in the Yorkshire area; the number of students at each polytechnic; and if she will make a statement on the new polytechnics which will be in operation by the year 1975.

My right hon. Friend has at present no plans for any polytechnics additional to the 30 already proposed. Of these, three remain to be established.
