26. Mr. Hugh Jenkins

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether, in view of the fact that in February, 1970, the Himsworth Committee expected to report in the autumn of that year, and in March by the end of that year, and in November in the spring of 1971 and in February in the middle of this year, he will seek an explanation of these postponements.

No. I do not propose to comment on the work of the Himsworth Committee until it has reported.
