Mr. Roy Hughes

asked the Secretary of State for Employment how many industrial training centres are operating in Wales at the present time; how many are in the course of construction; where they are located; and when they will be completed.

There are four Government Training Centres in Wales; at Cardiff, Llanelli, Port Talbot and Wrexham. A fifth centre will be opened at Pontllanfraith, West Monmouthshire on 29th March. There are no others under construction.
