HC Deb 16 March 1971 vol 813 c297W
Q19. Mr. Edwin Wainwright

asked the Prime Minister how many official visits he has made to the Yorkshire and Humberside Region since 18th June, 1970; when he next proposes to visit this region; and what consideration he is giving to an official visit of the Yorkshire coalfield intermediate zone.

The Prime Minister

I have not yet paid an official visit to the Region, but look forward to doing so later this week, when I shall be attending the Cutlers' Feast in Sheffield on Thursday. I am hoping to include in my programme a visit to the Firth Brown works at Maltby, in the intermediate area, on the following morning.
