§ Mr. Chichester-Clarkasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he will list the programme of work for 1971 of the Economic Development Committee for Building and its sub-committees and working parties; and whether he will make a statement on the future of this body.
§ Mr. AmeryThe work of the Economic Development Committee for Building is for the Committee itself to determine. I understand, however, that in 1971 the Committee is likely to consider such matters as the implications of its forecast of work over the next decade and to continue studies of pricing methods and cash flow.
The Committee was among those whose continuance was confirmed by the National Economic Development Council last December, subject to reconsideration in 12 months.

§ Mr. Chichester-Clarkasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he will list the reports of the Economic Development Committee for Building and its sub-committees or working parties which were produced in 1970; and what action has been taken in respect of each report.
§ Mr. AmeryI understand that in 1970 the Economic Development Committee for Building or its supporting groups produced reports on short-term prospects for the industry, on the prospects for work over the next decade and on urban renewal. These reports have been or are to be published and their conclusions discussed with the various bodies concerned.
