Mr. Carter-Jones

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will give the amount spent by each of the appropriate local authorities in rank order per hundred registered disabled people in 1964–65, 1965–66, 1966–67, 1967–68, 1968–69 and 1969–70.

The following table shows the estimated net expenditure under Section 29 of the National Assistance Act, 1948, which it is assumed is what the hon. Member has in mind. Information for London boroughs for 1964–65 is not available as they were not responsible for the services prior to 1st April, 1965. Information about net expenditure on local authority health and housing services for those registered is not available.
