HC Deb 04 March 1971 vol 812 cc500-1W
55. Mr. Neave

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether she will change the constitution of her advisory committee on handicapped children so as to provide a detailed inquiry into their educational needs.

Mrs. Thatcher

I am not contemplating any such change at present. The advisory committee's present constitution and terms of reference are well suited to its function of advising the Department on the very diverse needs of handicapped pupils.
