§ Mr. Mayhewasked the Secretary of State for Social Services why there has been a delay in publishing the report of the Farleigh Hospital Inquiry.
§ Sir K. JosephThis inquiry was set up following the conviction for ill-treating patients at the hospital of three persons. One of these has now made application for leave to appeal out of time and I have been advised that it would not be appropriate to publish the report until the appeal proceedings have been concluded.
