§ Mr. Stanbrookasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he will seek to make the site of the Abingdon Street Garden available for the erection of the proposed Churchill memorial.
§ Mr. AmeryI have had no other request to make this site available for the memorial. The Churchill Memorial Committee, who are making all the arrangements for the memorial, decided some time ago to accept the site in Parliament Square offered by the previous Government.
