§ Mr. Kinnockasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will take steps to introduce legislation compelling all employers to make provision for payment during the first three days of employee's absence from work of a sum equal to that received from the State after the first three days of absence from work for reasons of sickness or unemployment, when periods of 12 days' absence are involved.
