§ Mrs. ThatcherThe third phase of the Urban Programme, just approved by my right hon. Friend the Home Secretary, includes the provision of 5,200 nursery places in 62 English local education authorities at a cost of about £1.3 million. I understand from my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Wales that corresponding figures there are 280, 5 and £0.1 million. Child care projects are a matter for my right hon. Friends the Secretary of State for the Social Services and the Secretary of State for Wales.
