§ Mr. Warrenasked the Secretary of State for the Environment when he expects his Department to move into the Horse-ferry Road building; and what will then become of the Whitehall building, St. Christopher House and Lambeth Bridge House, formerly occupied by the Ministries of Housing and Local Government, Transport and Public Building and Works, respectively.
§ Mr. Peter WalkerWhen the Horse-ferry Road building is completed, it will be occupied by those concerned with central tasks of the Department of the Environment, or who are needed to advise Ministers. Consequential changes will be made in the Department's use of the other buildings mentioned, but these will be kept to the minimum compatible with the needs of the Department and the efficient management of the Government estate.
