§ Mr. Dalyellasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what reply he has given, to the request from the Patriotic Front in Laos, to the British and Russian Governments, as co-chairman of the Geneva Convention, to take action as a result of the paratroop landings in Laos.
§ Mr. Anthony RoyleWe have so far received no such request, although I have seen press reports. The "Patriotic 37W Front" speaks only for itself and the Communist faction in Laos; under the 1962 Geneva Agreement, the Royal Laotian Government is the only body competent to approach the Co-Chairmen of the Conference on behalf of Laos.
