§ Mr. van StraubenzeeGrants made by the Arts Council to the Institute of Contemporary Arts in 1969–70 totalled £29,975 of which £25,000 represented a contribution towards the general administrative costs of the Institute. The balance of £4,975 was made up of grants in support of individual events sponsored by the Institute.
