§ 85. Mr. Pardoeasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he is yet able to make a further statement about future assistance to the hotel industry.
§ Sir J. EdenHotel projects are not excluded from consideration under the arrangements for assistance to tourism projects in the development areas which my right hon. Friend described in his reply to the hon. Member for Ipswich (Mr. Money) on 10th December. Hotels started after 31st March in development or intermediate areas may be considered for assistance under the Local Employment Acts if they would bring 50 or more jobs into the Area.
My right hon. Friend has no further measures in mind at the present time.
