§ Mr. Dudley SmithThe total numbers registered as unemployed in the North West region, including temporarily stopped workers and school-leavers, increased from June, 1970, to November, 1971, by 62,949 and between October and November, 1971, by 6,234. The corresponding rises in the seasonally adjusted figures for those wholly unemployed were 53,600 and 3,100, respectively.
