§ Mr. Dudley SmithAt 12th July, 322 people were registered as unemployed in the area covered by the Risca employment exchange. Rates of unemployment cannot be calculated for Risca alone but in the Newport Docks, Newbridge and Risca travel-to-work area the rate was 4.6 per cent.
