§ Mr. Dudley SmithAt 12th July, the provisional number registered as unemployed in the area covered by the Peter-lee and Wingate employment exchanges was 1,856 and the rate of unemployment was 7.1 per cent. The rate for Great Britain was 3.4 per cent.
