Mr. Bob Brown

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what number of people is on waiting lists for hospital treatment in Newcastle-upon-Tyne and in the Northern Region.

Waiting time varies according to the specialty and the circumstances of each case and an average figure would have little meaning.
