§ Mr. Woodhouseasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what arrangements will be made under the reorganisation of the National Health Service for payments to be made between the new local authorities and the new health authorities for services provided by the one to the other.
§ Sir K. JosephWhether or not payment will be due will depend on the nature of the service provided and I regret that my answer to my hon. Friend during a debate on 1st July was misleading in this respect. My Department will be considering with those concerned how payments can be arranged with the minimum of administrative inconvenience.—[Vol. 820, c. 603.]
