asked the Secretary of State for Employment what action he intends to take following publication of, and arising from, the report of the National Board for Prices and Incomes on low pay.

Mr. R. Carr

I welcome the Board's four reports on low pay problems, as a valuable contribution to knowledge on this subject.

I shall study them fully, but as they were only published yesterday it is too early to come to any conclusions about what action can be based on them.
