asked the Secretary of State for Wales if he will circulate in the OFFICIAL REPORT a list of the local authorities which are required by Section 6 of the Caravan Sites Act 1968 to provide sites for gypsies, showing in each case whether the authority has replied to

1. There are two existing sites in Wales:—

A. Llanelli, Carmarthenshire—24 pitches available.

B. Nantyglo, Monmouthshire—15 pitches available.

C. In addition, Penybont Rural District Council Residential Caravan Site is available and stands are let to gipsy families.

2. Newport County Borough Council have claimed exemption under Sections 6(2)(a) and 6(2)(b) of the 1968 Act.
