§ Mr. Croninasked the Minister of State for Defence if he will take steps to convert Navy, Army and Air Force Institute shops in Germany to supermarkets, where such action will improve their efficiency and increase the convenience of customers.
§ Mr. LambtonAll N.A.A.F.I. shops in Germany already have self-service facilities of the supermarket type for groceries and provisions. The larger shops also sell a very wide range of goods, from clothing to refrigerators. Several shops have been extended and improved, and this process will continue, where the demand justifies it.
