HC Deb 27 October 1970 vol 805 c76W
Mr. William Rodgers

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what action he proposes to prevent the unauthorised use of transistors and record-players in the Royal Parks and other open spaces within his responsibility.

Mr. Amery

The use of transistors and record-players in the Royal Parks and other open spaces for which I am responsible is prohibited under the Regulations. Park-Keepers have standing instructions. My Department has received few complaints on this subject in recent years but I am arranging for them to be reminded of these instructions.
