HC Deb 27 October 1970 vol 805 c103W
Mr. Farr

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if she will approve the early construction of the new primary school at Braunstone in Leicestershire, the plans for the construction of which were originally approved for the 1968–69 Major Building Programme and then cancelled.

Mr. van Straubenzee

I know the difficulties but I cannot say when it will be possible to approve the building of a new primary school for the Braunstone area. This will depend partly on the degree of priority given to the project by the local education authority and partly on the resources available in future for replacing hutted accommodation.
