§ Mr. Wallasked the Secretary of State for Defence which service will operate vertical and short take-off and landing aircraft designed to be carried in the through-deck command cruisers and other ships of the Fleet.
§ Mr. KirkTrials at sea with the current version of the Harrier continue but no decision has been taken to deploy such aircraft at sea. The question which Service would operate them does not therefore arise yet.
