§ Mr. Clinton Davisasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will seek powers to distribute free to justices of the peace literature issued by Her Majesty's Stationery Office relating to penology and all legal matters affecting work done in magistrates' courts.
§ Mr. CarlisleMy right hon. Friend does not need any new powers. So far as he is aware, the present arrangements for supply of such literature where necessary are working satisfactorily.
