§ 49. Mr. George Thomasasked the Secretary of State for Wales whether he is satisfied that Llandough Hospital will not be adversely affected by recruitment of staff for the New University Hospital of Wales; and whether he will make a statement.
§ Mr. Peter ThomasRecruitment of staff for both Llandough Hospital and the University Hospital of Wales is a matter for the University Hospital of Wales (Cardiff) Hospital Management Committee and the Welsh Hospital Board. I have no doubt that in recruiting for the University Hospital they will bear in mind the staffing position at Llandough.
