asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs when the Consultative Committee between Government and representative outside bodies on entry into the Common Market was established; how many members it now has; what are the dates on which it has met; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Rippon

This Committee, conceived as the Consultative Committee between government and industry, came to be known as the Industrial Consultative Committee on the Approach to Europe. It had about 30 members and met four times between December, 1966 and May, 1967.
