§ Mr. McBrideasked the Secretary of State for Wales what is his estimate of the number of council houses to be completed by the end of 1970, and the number of persons who will be on the waiting lists at that time.
§ Mr. Peter Thomas5,160 council houses were completed in Wales in the first nine months of this year, and at the end of that period there were 7,000 still under construction. I cannot estimate how many of these will be completed in the last quarter.
I cannot say how many persons will be on waiting lists at the end of the year.
