HC Deb 10 November 1970 vol 806 c86W
Mr. Judd

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he will make a progress report on the study by the Industrial Injuries Advisory Council of the eligibility of Raynaud's phenomenon for inclusion in the schedule of industrial diseases under the Industrial Insurance Act.

Mr. Dean

The Council furnished in June, 1970 an interim report on the progress of their inquiry into the question whether the vibration syndrome, a term covering Raynaud's phenomenon and other conditions of the upper limbs attributable to the use of vibrating machines, should be prescribed under the National Insurance (Industrial Injuries) Act, 1965. This report was published as a Command paper (Cmnd. 4430) in July.
